True friends are like diamonds

Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence. True friendship is a plant of slow growth, and must undergo and withstand the shocks of adversity before it is entitled to the appellation.

True friends are like diamonds - precious and rare.

As we go through life, we meet new friends. Friends come and go.  Rarely do we realize the importance of friendship. We never noticed that they are gone because we have been engrossed with our work, setting aside our relationship with friends.

Heart to heart,
